Revealed some insights into his private life.
Lionel Messi discussed his family dynamics and his relationship with his life partner, Antonela Roccuzzo, in great detail. The Inter Miami player expressed his desire to expand his family and become a father once again. During a chat with popular streamer Migue Granados on the OLGA channel, the Argentine football star surprised his fans by sharing personal insights into his family life. He opened up about his relationship with his three children, Thiago (10), Mateo (8), and Ciro (5), as well as his strong bond with his partner, Antonela. At 36 years old, Messi is considering the idea of having a fourth child, despite already having a family of five with Antonela.
“We’re thinking about adding to our family with another baby. It’s not something we’re actively working on, but we’ll see if we are blessed with a little girl,” he shared. Messi also expressed his pride in being a good father and ensuring his children learn important values.
“I make sure to pass on the same values to my children that were instilled in me during my youth,” he explained. “Being a good father stems from having had good parents myself. Upholding the principles of my upbringing is crucial.” He also expressed his gratitude for the admirable commitment and dedication of Antonela as both a mother and a partner. “I have nothing but respect for her,” Messi stated. “She is with our children round the clock, even when we are away for extended periods due to work commitments like trips, matches, or national team duties. She is there for them every day, no matter how long we’re apart.”
Thiago is a more talkative one, especially with Antonela around as he feels more comfortable sharing things with her. Mateo is the chatterbox who always has something to say, while Ciro tends to be more reserved. The decision to move to Miami was also influenced by the desire to provide a good environment for their children, as Messi shared their daily routine. They start their day at 07:00, have breakfast which usually consists of toast and chocolate milk. Sometimes Messi drops the kids off at school, sometimes not, as their day involves training, naps with Antonela, and picking up the kids in between.
